Maximum performance for your workloads

Optimize a wide range of processes with tailor-made GPU servers from IONOS.

High Performance Computing

Process large or complex amounts of data particularly quickly and make well-founded decisions for your business. Whether you want to check user input to your system in real time, automate recurring tasks or incorporate better forecasts into your decision-making processes more quickly. The GPU servers from IONOS Cloud offer you the right performance level for the necessary computing operations for every workload.

Deep learning

Optimize your internal analyses and use deep learning to make even large, complex data volumes easy to evaluate. Use the possibilities of AI to eliminate typical sources of error, minimize risks in your processes and thus gain more time for your core business. With a GPU server, you can evaluate and analyze images, texts and other data better, faster and in a more targeted manner.

Big Data Analytics

Increase the efficiency of your business intelligence (BI) and systematically access large amounts of data. The performance of a GPU server enables you to analyze data in greater depth and in a more targeted manner. This allows you to standardize all data regardless of its source, process it centrally and thus create the basis for fast and efficient data evaluation.

AI training

Optimize the training of your own AI models and innovations. GPUs with parallel processing capability in combination with open source-based LLMs make data analysis of images, texts and other sources more precise. This minimizes individual sources of error and process risks faster, allowing you to focus more on developing your core business.

IONOS CLOUD is a pioneer in cloud security

IONOS CLOUD is the first German cloud provider to have both the C5 certificate and the BSI's IT-Grundschutz certification. (as of November 2023)

The Cloud Computing Compliance Criteria Catalog (C5) is a catalog of criteria published by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) that defines the minimum requirements for secure cloud computing. At IONOS CLOUD, Compute Engine, Cubes and Object Storage meet these criteria, which are mandatory for clouds used in the public sector.

At the same time, IONOS CLOUD holds the ISO 27001 certificate based on IT baseline protection. The BSI thus certifies that IONOS CLOUD has implemented the necessary IT security measures and an information security management system (ISMS).

FAQ — frequently asked questions

With Cloud GPU VM, you can expand your cloud infrastructure with graphics processors from NVIDIA. These virtual machines enable accelerated computing for workloads where traditional CPUs reach their limits. They benefit from massive parallel processing, which is ideal for compute-intensive tasks in research, industry and development.

The GPU instances are optimized for High Performance Computing (HPC) and data-intensive processes. Key areas of application include:

  • Artificial intelligence (AI): Training of deep learning models and fast inference for generative AI
  • Data science: Accelerated big data analyses and complex simulations
  • Visualization: Rendering, 3D modelling and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

They use powerful NVIDIA GPUs from the enterprise segment. Thanks to pass-through technology, your VMs access the physical resources of the card directly. This guarantees you maximum performance without virtualization losses - essential for demanding AI models and simulations.

You pay exactly for the resources you use according to the pay-per-use principle. Billing is accurate to the minute. This gives you full cost control and the flexibility to scale computing power for peak loads at short notice without having to make long-term investments in your own hardware.

Yes, the GPU instances can be seamlessly integrated into your existing infrastructure. For example, combine them with the Compute Engine for scalable container management or IONOS Cloud Object Storage for storing large training data. This allows you to create a powerful end-to-end environment for your projects.
